A guilty yet satisfying day

This is what I did when the nation is tuning into the wedding of the century, stuff myself with good food! LOL. Had a go at Kissaten, Jaya One. Was very tempted to have late lunch at Ikea, but thank god the traffic was really bad so it wasn't very convenient to make a turn to Ikea. Instead, we stuck to the original plan and went to Jaya One to try the pork burger and char siew pizza.

Potato Egg Salad
Teriyaki Pork Burger
<3 the sauce
Char Siew Pizza
The amount of cheese is sufficient to make me feel guilty

I must say the menu kinda reminds me of Pasta Zanmai, the price range around the same? They have other dishes as well such as don, udon, some local food etc etc. But I guess the pork burger and char siew pizza is the must try. Another one is the drink, read off some blog recommending it but didn't try cos it's made of blended BITTER GOURD and cucumber :|
You should know my stand.

Then we headed back to Klang and decided to stop by Aeon Bt Tinggi. Starbucks is currently having 50% off their fraps from 5pm to 7pm. The offer lasts until 7th May. So, the large green tea frap is only for RM8.20. HAHA. I didn't like it though because the ices were not blend fine enough. There is ice bits in every sip. Thumbs down :/

Dessert of the day!

Of course I must thank this girl for the lovely yet guilty day. HAHAHA. Thank you for always driving me around for good food, shopping and whatnot.

My partner in crime XD

I don't know if you guys have seen or tried this but I never. LOL.

Yup, flavored tambun biscuits that's sold in penang.
There's five flavors:
Durian, Apple, Orange, Nutmeg and Mango.

There's three biscuits in each individual packs.
I've tried the mango one and it's kinda sweet, unlike the normal tambun biscuits that's usually salty.
And there's small bits of mango inside.

Not bad actually cos I'm sick of the traditional flavor XD

Fat-saturated post.

Now this is the place that I've been wanting to try for a while now. A bit tad pricey for a poor student like me but aiya.. once in a blue blue moon, never mind lah hor? All set lunch are served with a cup of Soup of the Day and our choice of drink. The portions are big so I'll recommend for girls to share =)

No beef for me and I'm a huge fan of fish & chips! So naturally this is my first choice. *heart* the tartar sauce. Plus they are not stingy about the lemon! =D

Khailing's chicken with fries. Even though the chicken is skinless, but it is still crunchy!

Khaishin's beef sandwich. Sorry, I don't remember what our dishes are called. I've only tried the mustard and swiss cheese. Heh.

The atmosphere wasn't bad and I must sayI was rather impressed by the server that attended us. He was able to explain the menu and recommend the dishes base on personal preferences.

Even when we're having our food, he would check on us to see whether the food are alright. That, is something that you wouldn't get from Manhattan Fish Market, Kenny Rogers etc.

Next stop was Beard Papa thanks to Khailing, I started to crave for their chocolate fondant. My, my, see that amount of choco oozing out? ;)

Okay I should start fasting now for the next two days.

Cupcakes?

This is the outcome of my first attempt in baking cupcakes.
The first batch is vanilla cupcakes while second is chocolate flavor.
Unfortunately the chocolate batch did not make the cut
cos I forgot to adjust the quantity of eggs.
So it did not turn out nice.

a cup of ceylon tea, please.

Fyi, I prefer Lipton. But McD always serve Boh =/
Finally I could scrape NZ Natural Ice Cream off from my list. Woot~
Appreciate the fact that we could still hang out after such a long time.
Even though it was only for a couple of hours.
But it was fun seeing and talking to you again.
Ahhh how I wish we were back to the old days.

Food for de-stressing

My effort to make this blog alive again =)
I don't know if they have these in Klang's pasar malam cos I've never been to one since like forever. Lol.

Pandan-flavored 'man cian ke'.
rm1.

It's thicker than the usual ones and of course more peanuts but quite sweet. And the pandan flavor ain't strong enough. Or there's none at all. Lol. It's just the typical ones that we can get and the difference is that its green in color. But it seems to me their business ain't bad. And I like it cos it's bigger and thicker than those we usual eat. Keke..

They call this China Burger.
rm1.50 for the chicken filling ones.

Okay, this is not bad I must say. They have a lot of selections for the fillings. Chicken, prawn, sausage etc. And there's two or three stalls selling these. But I'd always go to this stall on the left side cos they open kinda early. I always go early cos I don't want to squeeze with the crowd. It's massive I tell you and me no likey =( I shall try the other stall next time. Lol.

I bought popiah and takoyaki balls too but you guys surely know how it looks like right?
Lol.

20090227 Potluck

You know what? I kept thinking if I should prepare lunch for work tomorrow or not. If I should add this and that to my lunch or not. After some constant pondering only I realized that it's Sunday tomorrow and I'm not working.

What the heck?!

It's not like I'm looking forward to it or anything. But I think my brain is set up to think that I should prepare myself for work. All I can say that it's a good sign? Maybe? LOL. Time will tell.

Oh well, we had a form 6 gathering on Friday night at Brian's place. No photos. Everyone was busy chatting, exploring the house and peeking at the neighbours. LOL. It was potluck and I brought baby tomatoes stuffed with asam. Was kinda worry that others wouldn't like it but after Lee Shin and Elaine gave me positive feedback, I started proclaiming that it was mua that prepared it. LOL. For those who could not make it, sorry wey, you missed out on the good food. Hehe~

After that, we went to the 'bottomless teh tarik' lake to feed the duckies! 5 minutes and all the bread was gone. And I can tell ya, those ducks ain't full. The lake was a very nice spot. You can have a stroll after dinner or just go out there in the evening with a good book. But remember to gear yourself with insect repellent or you'll end up becoming food for the mosquitoes community.

It seems like the form 6 gang have gathering every now and then. But I think the next time when we meet again, it's going to be in school to get our results. Hohoho. That's scary. I shouldn't even be talking about that *sigh* Maybe it's about time for me to stop hiding, clear my mind and think about it?

HUAT AH~

This year, Operation Pineapple Tart was accomplished.
Pei Li, thanks for the tips! <3
Somehow it looks like porcupine more than pineapple.
