Yesterday was the last round to earn some pocket money for this poor student.
Total earning : RM70.
That's sufficient for a week. More than enough actually. I could spend a little more on food and entertainment =D

And I've been contemplating on whether I should get braces. It had been suggested several times. And it kills me everytime I see my smiling pictures. URGHHHHHH It's so horrible. The only thing that's holding me down is the pain that I would have to go through. Oh, oh and the teeth extraction part too!! *shudders* Teragak-agak abit to sacrifice for beauty =/

It's amazing how fast I could forget about my home here in Cheras over CNY week,
how I would spend my time in front of Tablo doing practically nothing.
It felt so different when I was back here on the first night.
I know it doesn't feel right.
Like I was forced to stay in this crappy place.
Whenever I refer to the 'home' in Cheras, it doesn't literally mean home, home.
Like home sweet home.
Nope, it's far from that.
And how I miss my bathroom ='(
It's taking a longer time for me to adapt to this than what I've expected.

Kong Hei Fatt Choy!

Well, it's kinda late for wishes right? It's the ninth day of CNY already. Better late than never though. LMAO.

I'm still in the gambling celebration mood. And the random-est thing was that I received a text from the eldest sister asking if I'm free on Friday night so that we could gamble. I laughed my arse off. Looks like I'm not the only one addicted to it. LOL.

Anyhows, this week no more slacking. Midterms are pouring in starting from next week. And I haven't started on my assignments due next and the week after. I don't know if I'm taking foundation too lightly. Some of my friends seems so 'pia'. Is it because they are naturally diligent people? Lol. I guess that's not for me to know. Cos the word 'diligent' and 'hardworking' doesn't seem to stick around or exist in my personal dictionary. But 'procrastinate'? Oh, hell YES. It's my loyal companion. Lmao.

Btw Sooks, where's the CNY photos? Upload please! Thx <333

Stay strong my dear friends.
You guys still have us.

A Love Story. More or Less.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time I've ever watched a movie released on the day itself. And this first film would be Valentine's Day. LOL. Tix were selling fast by the time we reach the cinema. Seats left were the first and second rows from the screen but we didn't mind.

Should you guys watch it? Yeah, maybe. Since Valentine's coming up. Though I wouldn't say that I enjoyed it VERY much or something. I would prefer He's Just Not That Into You rather than this.

The character and storyline of double Taylor wasn't very interesting. This film supposedly center around characters that's related to each other and how they're going through Valentine's. I couldn't make out the character's connection with the theme though. And it felt like their character was only add-ons into the film just because they're like the 'hot stuff'. Just for the sake to spice up the line of 'A-listers' actors.

Though I must say I super like Ashton Kutcher's character. He's super sweet. And there's still surprises here and there. But I won't reveal it here. Don't want to spoil it for you guys. Watch it yourself if you want to know. Lol. But I've got to say, it's such a waste! IF it's true anyways. Lol.

Next movie. The Lovely Bones. Can't wait! XD

Mission

For the past two days, I've been learning how to play the acoustic guitar from one of my housemate. She's majoring in music, piano if I'm not mistaken. Man, I tell you all those fretting (is that the correct term?) is a total killer. My fingers are still sore from it.

But heck, I'm happy that I finally got the chance to learn how to play an acoustic guitar! I had always been wanting to pick up an instrument, be it guitar or piano. And because it was convenient to bring guitar around, I've set my mind to learn the guitar instead. Though being the procrastinator that I am, the plan did not work out.

Until two nights ago when my housemate and I were so bored, we started playing with the guitar. Coincidentally her roommate came back from class and she taught us a few chords. And with the help of the music application in her SE cellphone (like Mei Yin and Pei Li's cellphone), we memorized the simpler chords.

Now I can play Zombie by the Cranberries already. And learning how to play Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day. LMAO. Though my friend told me to choose the 'true side' cos now I'm switching between both hands. The right hand seems easier for me to fret cos it's stronger compared to the left. And the fingertips of the right are rougher so it's less painful when I apply pressure on the string. But I'll see how it goes later. Still have to check the old guitar at my house to see if it's still usable.

All this make me kinda excited. LOL. Albeit it's hard but I'm not giving up ;)
