The resolution for next semester is to stop being a perfectionist! This trait had taken a toll on me because even though most of my assignments are group work I would still end up doing most of the work. It's because my English is the strongest among my groupmates. I'm not boasting, really. But when you have a Shanghainese girl and a UEC graduate from JB (they hardly speak any english even though Spore is nearer than KL), I ended up being the editor.

I don't mind actually cos I don't fancy having to search for information and write every down from point zero. Usually I'll just sit back and wait for them to compile everything and then I'll edit the report. My job is to rewrite the sentences to make it understandable and check for any errors.

Though sometimes it's really hard to understand what my groupmates are trying to convey and I would end up re-doing 80% of the assignment. Spending a lot of time in researching for additional information to support of points and what not. I try to keep the changes minimal because I do not want to offend them by changing too much. But usually I'll end up burning midnight oil to edit it while they can sleep at 11pm at night. Yes, I was so surprised when I found out that they sleep THAT early. LOL.

I realize that I sacrificed a lot of my time just to complete one assignment. Well, I'm starting to feel a lil unfair. But then again it's because of my stronghead-ness. They have volunteered to do certain things but I just can't let them handle it because I think in the end, I still need to do the editing and re-doing part again.

But for next semester, I'll TRY to let them handle the assignments. For the sake of my health =/

I could really shoot myself in the head if I ever hear that song again o.o
But kyaa it was fun as well.
I'm starting to wonder if I've chosen the correct major. LOL.

So far, I'm having the busiest semester.

Six assignments to be submitted by 1st April.

I ain't gonna complain about not having things to do anymore.

And I'm contemplating if I should return to Klang or not with so many assignments on hand.

*sigh* what to do? what to do?

It's amazing how fast I could forget about my home here in Cheras over CNY week,
how I would spend my time in front of Tablo doing practically nothing.
It felt so different when I was back here on the first night.
I know it doesn't feel right.
Like I was forced to stay in this crappy place.
Whenever I refer to the 'home' in Cheras, it doesn't literally mean home, home.
Like home sweet home.
Nope, it's far from that.
And how I miss my bathroom ='(

It's taking a longer time for me to adapt to this than what I've expected.

I'm currently using the WiFi connection from our room. Woohoo~ The connection is damn fast. Maybe because it's Friday and most people already left for home. So we can use kao kao. LOL.

Wai Peng and I are waiting for time to pass so that we could board the train to go home. We were suppose to go home after 6.30, after my last lecture. But my lecture ended at 4.30pm instead. That's like two hours earlier! Woohoo~

Though I must say this lecturer makes me headache. He's a newbie, like me. Hehe~ But he kept pausing and repeating what he just said. So it's abit hard to get him. But nevermind, it's Art & Film Appreciation. We just need to watch a lot of movies. Nyeknyeknyek~

But OMG, assignments. I have a speech to comment on and also I need to write my own speech on any topic because the lecturer wants to 'see us in our natural way of speaking' =.='''
I'm totally speechless.

Anyways, me and Peng are going back now. Hehe~ By estimated 3 hours time, we will reach Klang. Can't wait. But first, we have to battle through the crowd. Ughhh. Wish us luck!

I'M BACK BABEH

Home sweet home. Seriously nothing is better than this. And I'm glad that I'm able to travel back home on weekends. Was a little home sick on the first night. But thank goodness Wai Peng was there with me. Or I think I might have a harder time to adjust to the new environment. Thanks babe!

The hostel room is alright. Slightly dirty. But Peng and I managed to clean it up so it's not so teruk anymore. Hehe.

At night, we have a pretty view of the city lights from our windows.

Orientation was so-so. Nothing interesting. Made a few friends. But no one from Foundation in Arts yet. I guess it'll happen after class starts on Tuesday. My first class is Film & Arts Appreciation from 2pm to 6pm *gulps*

And yes I have a very sad news. It looks like I'll be studying till the end of the year without any sem breaks because I'll be studying for long semester instead of short semester. But I guess we'll still be able to meet on weekends when I'm back.

On a lighter note, I think something must have happened to me and Wai Peng yesterday night cause all of a sudden we started camwhoring... with the hair dryer.






The rest are classified too hiao for public viewing. LOL.
