I'm so happy right now, I don't want to sleep. It's because I've downloaded The Time Traveller's Wife Ebook for FREE. MUAHAHAHAHAHHHHAHHHAHAH~

I had the sudden urge to read the Chronicles of Narnia again so I googled for it and then I stumbled across this website that provides free Ebooks. They have this extensive list of free ebooks and guess what? They even have Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood that I wanted to get! Jackpot, babeh~ I hit the jackpot! Woohoo~

Too bad I can't stay up late and read it cos tomorrow I'm suppose to work. Damn. Gotta resist the urge and wait till I'm free *sigh*

Christmas eve

Aaron threatens Adam he's not gonna friend him if he continues to play with Elin.
Adam bullies Aaron and says he will only friend Elin.
Continue to bully him.
Aaron who is enraged in jealousy kept whining and whining.
Three of them ran around.
Aaron who couldn't keep up because of his short legs screamed for his brother.
Adam who enjoys bullying the bro with his new friend did not bother to slow down.
The whole thing goes in a circle.
So this is basically how my Christmas eve is.
Torture, I tell you.
PURE TORTURE.
*faint*

and a happy new year =)

xoxo

Today is Sze Tzing's birthday. Although the days we knew each other isn't considered 'long' long, almost three years. It ain't short too. Haha~

You've always had been a very good friend. Calm and collected. Cheeky. Honest. Yes, very honest. That's what I like the most about you. You wouldn't lie or pretend. And I don't know why but it's very comforting to talk to you. Lmao.

Sorry for not being able to celebrate with you this year. I've missed last year's celebration too *guilty*

But I hope that you'll have a wonderful year ahead and find your bearing in life. The most important thing is that you're happy with what you have now. The rest is only trivial matter. Let's work hard together kay?
Happy birthday again my dear =)

what the ... did that just happened?!

I don't know if that was okay for me to disclose so much.
I thought it was just a normal conversation, normal questions that any one would ask.
But it turned into something else.
And now I dread it, badly.

biatch

You know it's disappointing when you've worked hard for something and the people around you put in the same effort as you, if not much much more, but you and your group mates did not get the right recognition. Fine then, it could be any other side factors we have no control over that influences the outcome.

However, things are WAY different if you found out that you are suppose to get higher recognition BUT it was forfeited because of an individual's bad judgment and stupid action.

We worked our arses off for this while you did nothing except for attending some of the meetings and rehearsals. Sure, you prepared the refreshments but sorry missy, that's not enough to redeem yourself for all the damages you've done. You didn't even show the initiative that a director should.

Don't you know that deadline is everything? That deadline could cost you your marks? I don't give a damn about that 2 marks. It's just that I know we worked hard for it especially Jackie, Vivian and Sean. This project is not the only project that we had on hand at that time. But still, three of them came to school even when there's no lecture just to complete the video and brochure and everything else. So, they DESERVE that recognition.

What is done is done though. The possibility of the lecturer giving us that extra marks is close to nil. So, this serve as a very important lesson, avoid grouping with these people if you can. They always, always do you no good *sigh* And please, please I would highly appreciate it if you're not in any of my next semester's classes.

Very strange indeed.

Two died in freak shopping mall accident (Update)

BY SYED AZHAR

KOTA BARU:Two shoppers were killed after a driver lost control of her car on an upstairs open air parking of a mall, slamming the vehicle into a retaining wall before plunging down three stories.

Another shopper was seriously injured in the freak accident that occurred at 4.45pm when the mall in Jalan Hamzah was packed with weekend patrons.

Nurain Said, who was in the car when it plunged down, miraculously survived the 54-metre fall.

The dead have been identified as trainee nurses Siti Nuramira Shamsuddin, 19, and Siti Nurdiana Azman, 18, from a local college, both of whom died on the spot after being hit by falling debris.

Both Rashidah Ahmad Latif, 18, and Nurain have been admitted to the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital with head injuries.

District OCPD ACP Zahruddin Abdullah said the original driver of the car - identified only as Sabri - had earlier gotten out of the car, which had stalled at the parking area.

He said Sabri then told his 17-year-old sister Nurain to get behind the wheel while he pushed the car in an attempt to jumpstart the engine.

ACP Zahruddin said while Sabri was pushing the car, the engine suddenly came to life, causing the car to lunge forward and smash into the retaining wall, which also served as the building’s ventilation airway.

He said Siti Nuramira, who was on the second floor of the building, and Siti Nurdiana, standing on the ground close to the escalator, could have died after being crushed by concrete debris.

“We are looking for Sabri and another woman identified as Nurul Atikah to assist police in their investigations for reckless driving,” he said.

A witness Hazura Ariffin, 25, said she heard a loud bang that shook the building.

“I thought it was an earthquake at first. I was shocked to see the wrecked car lying in the middle of the mall between the escalators,” she said.

Police had since cordoned off the building and advised all patrons to vacate the building to avoid further casualties.

Crowds waiting outside the mall attracted the curiousity of motorists, causing serious traffic jam along the road. Traffic only resumed to normal two hours later.

(The Star Newspaper, 2009)

I saw the third photo first on fb and was wondering to myself what is that car doing in the middle of the escalators. And after reading the comments left on that page, I was dumbfounded. Not in a million years I'd thought of something like this could happen. I remember I've visited this mall with the Cina Society members back in June 07.

Life is so unpredictable. One day you're happily shopping on the weekend and next you could be lying lifeless next to a car that just so happen to fall on you. I don't think I can imagine this kind of thing happening when I'm out shopping. The worst I can think of is being mobbed or meeting someone that I dread, NOT being hit by a car falling out from the roof.
So people, live your life to the fullest and with no regrets cos we'll never know what would happen to us in the future.

RIP
Siti Nuramira Shamsuddin and
Siti Nurdiana Azman.

Food for de-stressing

My effort to make this blog alive again =)
I don't know if they have these in Klang's pasar malam cos I've never been to one since like forever. Lol.

Pandan-flavored 'man cian ke'.
rm1.

It's thicker than the usual ones and of course more peanuts but quite sweet. And the pandan flavor ain't strong enough. Or there's none at all. Lol. It's just the typical ones that we can get and the difference is that its green in color. But it seems to me their business ain't bad. And I like it cos it's bigger and thicker than those we usual eat. Keke..

They call this China Burger.
rm1.50 for the chicken filling ones.

Okay, this is not bad I must say. They have a lot of selections for the fillings. Chicken, prawn, sausage etc. And there's two or three stalls selling these. But I'd always go to this stall on the left side cos they open kinda early. I always go early cos I don't want to squeeze with the crowd. It's massive I tell you and me no likey =( I shall try the other stall next time. Lol.

I bought popiah and takoyaki balls too but you guys surely know how it looks like right?
Lol.
