Through primary and secondary education, I've met several people that I think they solely live on comparing and nitpicking on others. Be it school result, personal life, fashion sense and whatnot. I can't deny that I'm somewhat like that as well, but I don't think it's as serious as those I've met where every little thing is worth getting compared with. Not only that, they would always want to "win" in everything that they say.
When I got into college, I thought that this would end. Maybe not completely but at least everyone would be mature enough to stop acting like that. But boy, am I wrong. Terribly wrong! I try not to bother much about it but at times, it tends to get really annoying.
Especially when my marks would be compared with and even when I got a post in a club, I got nitpicked at. If you want a place in the committee, just say so instead of nitpicking at me and saying things like you wouldn't attend the meeting if it were you. Seriously, please find a different person for you to compare with or better yet, stop all these nonsense. Just be who you really are instead of pretending to be who you're not. It's tiring for me to watch so I bet it's even more tiring for you to act that way.
